NGT Leeds city centre route

NB: In March 2010, the Government did not approve funding for the full City Centre route as shown on the map to the right. Approval was given for a link between the North and South route.

Key issues:

• Congestion is a problem in some parts of the city centre and the introduction of NGT would restructure how traffic movements operate within the public transport box, providing more reliable journey times.
