Holt Park public consultation findings
An outline of the results from our public consultation, where we asked what you thought about the proposed extension of the NGT Trolleybus network to Holt Park.
In May we held a public exhibition at the Holt Park District Centre, to give people more information about the proposed extension of the NGT Trolleybus network to serve the Holt Park area. We also gave out information at the local library and on our website.
We asked you to give us your views by filling in a questionnaire, at the exhibition or provide comments online.
Results
Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill in a questionnaire - in total over 140 questionnaires were completed and these have now been analysed. The findings from the questionnaire show that:
- 65% of respondents support the NGT proposals;
- 64% of respondents support the proposed use of Trolleybuses;
- Almost three quarters of those who filled in a questionnaire support the idea for Park and Ride sites at the end of the North and South NGT routes; and
- The most important things that people want to see in a new public transport system are more reliable services, cheaper fares and faster services.
